I almost fell off my chair laughing tonight. I was doing a Google search for another Nikkei artist and was directed to Wikipedia and their section on Japanese Canadians. Imagine my surprise when I scrolled down to the list of “prominent Japanese Canadians” and found my name at the top of the list. Yup, that’s right, I beat out David Suzuki, Paul Kariya, Raymond Moriyama, Joy Kogawa, Jon Kimira Parker and about fifty others. Maybe I’m not just a legend in my own mind . . . good thing I’m humble.

Seriously, I see that Roy Kiyooka is not even on the list. I think someone needs to go into this Wikipedia page and do some serious posting . . . Wikipedia is a pretty cool (and increasingly important) resource, but it depends on people inputting data and editing posts for accuracy. Anyone want to take a stab at editing this page?
