The February issue of The Bulletin is available now at www.jccabulletin-geppo.ca. Our first ever Valentine’s Day special issue features a story on marriage, Nikkei style, from the viewpoint of two Nikkei couples, Tom & Avalon Tagami and Aki Minoto & Reiko Tagami. They have some pretty interesting perspectives. Ironically, for being featured in a Valentine’s Day issue, neither couple plans to celebrate the day with anything special. There is also a somewhat tongue-in-cheek story on love (and sex) in Japan along with the usual assortment of stories and articles. Don’t forget to check out the Adventures of Bean-chan as Mr Bean (AKA Bean-san) tries to find a Valentine’s Day gift for Edamama . . .
